Professionals Nord is now looking for an Energy Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with a well-established player in the industry.

Information about the role

Professionals Nord is recruiting an Energy Manager on behalf of our client. The assignment is full-time and spans 12 months, with a good possibility of extension. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work on-site at the client's premises.

In this role, you will become a key part of the operations, responsible for ensuring energy-efficient operation of buildings and technical systems. You will work closely with the business to analyze energy consumption, identify areas for improvement, and drive actions that contribute to increased sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

Travel is required in this role as the work is located at sites within the Mälaren region.

Responsibilities

In the role of Energy Manager, you will among other things:

• Monitor, analyze, and report on energy consumption
• Identify and handle deviations in electricity and heat consumption
• Optimize operating times and energy usage in technical systems
• Ensure that building systems operate based on the business's needs
• Analyze energy statistics, peak loads, and consumption trends
• Present improvement proposals and recommend actions
• Drive smaller projects within HVAC and ventilation
• Coordinate internal resources when implementing energy-saving measures
• Be responsible for the quality of energy monitoring systems
• Create and update technical documentation and reports
• Participate in status inspections

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in building technology or equivalent
• Have several years of experience in energy, operations, or building technology
• Have experience with balancing and optimizing heating and ventilation systems
• Have good knowledge of energy optimization of buildings
• Have experience with monitoring, analysis, and energy monitoring systems
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Have good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Have experience with property or case management systems
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits

• Experience from industrial buildings or production environments
• Knowledge of LCC (Life Cycle Cost) analyses and investment calculations
• Experience with various energy monitoring systems
