The Swedish Fortification Administration is seeking a Land Specialist for the Design Unit. Do you have several years of experience in design work with BIM modeling and do you want to contribute to Sweden's defense capability?

The Swedish Fortification Administration's mission is to meet the needs of the Swedish Armed Forces and defense-related agencies for secure buildings. This means that we build, own, manage, and operate a wide variety of properties used by our tenants.

The agency's headquarters is located in Eskilstuna.

The Project Department, responsible for construction investments, currently consists of approximately 160 employees.

The Design Unit is currently being established, and we are now seeking several different competencies to perform the design of buildings and facilities in-house.

Your daily life as a land designer in an agency with complex projects

As a land designer, you will work in a multidisciplinary team together with, among others, design managers, architects, structural engineers, and installation specialists.

You will, for example, produce design basis documents for various types of investment projects and design in all design phases with a strong focus on analysis work together with other specialists.

Complementary tasks supporting the organization may also occur in your role; the position also involves some internal and external contacts.

The position requires working on-site in Eskilstuna, although travel within Sweden occurs within the projects.

What do you offer us?

We are looking for you who:

• Have a university/college education of at least 180 hp in road and water, or alternatively another relevant education combined with work experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in land design.
• Have experience working within BIM design and using software such as Novapoint and various CAD tools.

It is meritorious if you have competence within water and sewerage, geotechnical and rock design, as well as fortification and/or defense areas.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. The location is Eskilstuna. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security screening with register check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
