About the role

Are you a teacher in construction sheet metal, or a sheet metal worker looking for a new challenge? We are currently looking for a substitute for 5-6 weeks this summer in Mariefred.

Movant is seeking an engaged vocational teacher in building sheet metal work for a labor market training program. Here you get the chance to combine your professional knowledge with a meaningful role as a mentor and educator for adults who want to take the step into the industry.

The training is located within a Prison and Probation Service (Kriminalvården) facility, and as a teacher, you are helping people get a new chance - for real.

As a teacher here, you help participants develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge while allowing you to channel your own passion for your trade. You are part of an engaged teaching group where collaboration and joy in work are central.

The position is a summer substitute with the possibility of continuation in varying degrees.

Your main task is to deliver high-quality education that meets the industry's requirements and expectations. The best of both worlds - you share your knowledge and see your participants grow and develop at the same time!

We are looking for you who

  • Have a professional certificate as a sheet metal worker
  • and/or at least five years of professional experience in sheet metal work within the last ten years
  • Have experience teaching adults
  • Have the ability to adapt teaching to each participant's needs
  • Have the competence to explain theories and guide practical exercises
  • Have good computer skills

It is an advantage if you hold a teaching license or other pedagogical experience. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
