Your Role

As an Engineer in Verification and System Testing, you will play a central role in ensuring that our systems function as intended in real-world situations where it truly matters. You will work with requirements management and breakdown, write test specifications, test programs, and procedures, as well as conduct and report on tests.

The role also includes integration, commissioning, and validation of ship systems at customer sites, as well as functional testing in simulators. Here, you will follow the entire chain, from requirements to a verified system, and work in agile teams with daily stand-ups where you can contribute your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

You will become part of a tight-knit team with a strong forward momentum and sense of community. Here, you will develop alongside colleagues in an environment where technology, collaboration, and well-being are key components. Travel to customers may occur, so we prefer that you hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, you should appreciate the combination of working both close to customers and in a team with your colleagues. The work requires the ability to structure, plan, and prepare together with the team, followed by travel to where the commissioning takes place.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Measurement Technology, Software, or a similar field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with verification, testing, and validation of systems
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious if you have:

• Experience in planning and breaking down tasks
• Experience working with requirements in requirements management tools
• Experience working with DOORS

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
