Network Engineer for the Defense IndustryDo you want to work with socially vital technology in an exciting and technically advanced environment? We are now looking for a Network Engineer who wants to develop and operate communication and network solutions for land-based defense systems.This role is suitable for you who enjoy technology, problem-solving, and working closely with both systems and users in mission-critical environments.About the Team

You will become part of a growing team working on the digitalization and modernization of ground combat capabilities. The team consists of network engineers, system engineers, and technical specialists who together ensure that advanced communication and command systems function as intended. Here, we help each other and share knowledge – you don't need to know everything from the start. About the Role As a Network Engineer, you will work with building, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting network and communication solutions. You will work with both hardware and software in complex system environments where operational reliability and functionality are crucial. The work takes place in a lab environment, at facilities, and out with the customer. Travel is part of the role. Examples of tasks

Configure and integrate network and communication systems
Test and verify functionality in technical solutions
Troubleshoot networks, radio systems, and system configurations
Build and maintain test and reference environments
Provide technical support during exercises and operational activities
Work with both Linux and Windows-based environments
Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and end-users to ensure working solutions

We are looking for someone who has

A few years of experience in networking, IT infrastructure, or communication systems
Knowledge in areas such as routing, switching, transmission, or data centers
Experience with scripting or programming, e.g., in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Post-secondary education in IT, networking, computer science, or equivalent
Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Category B driver's license
Ability to travel for work as needed

Meritorious Qualifications

Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or the defense industry
Knowledge of command systems or communication solutions within the defense sector
Experience with radio and transmission systems
Work in security-classified environments
