Your Responsibilities

Omniglot is now looking for a native language teacher in Russian at 5% in Gävle, starting week 34 in August.

As a native language teacher, you will teach children and young people in your native language outside of regular school hours, usually in the afternoon between 14:00–17:00, and sometimes in the morning between 08:00 and 09:00. This position is for a school in Gävle, so you must be a resident there.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning and conducting native language lessons;
• managing student attendance;
• email communication with guardians;
• grading and providing feedback;
• reporting your working hours and maintaining close contact with Omniglot's central unit;
• participating in professional development together with other teaching colleagues.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Lives in Gävle;
• Has Russian as a native language;
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently;
• Is proficient in computer skills;
• Is attentive to students' needs and interests;
• Is flexible and enjoys collaborating with colleagues, guardians, and school staff.

Teaching experience is an advantage.
