SweProd Graphics is one of Scandinavia's leading companies in industrial printing and product labeling. With our own production in Visby, we deliver products to customers worldwide, focusing on quality, precision, and delivery reliability.

We are now looking for a Pre-press Specialist & Buyer who wants to be an important part of our production flow and contribute to ensuring that the right materials, documentation, and conditions are in place before production begins.

About the Role

This is an operational role with a primary focus on technical pre-press preparation.

You are responsible for creating and quality-assuring production documentation so that production has the right conditions to deliver with the correct quality and precision.

As part of the role, you are also responsible for customer-specific purchases related to the articles you prepare. This involves ongoing contact with a select number of suppliers to ensure deliveries.

You will become a key link between customers, suppliers, and production, working closely with other functions within the company.

Supplier visits are a natural part of the role.

A Day in Our Life

A typical day revolves around creating the right conditions for production.

You start the day by reviewing incoming customer documentation. You then work on preparing articles, creating and quality-assuring production documentation, and ensuring that all files and drawings are ready for production.

As part of the job, you are also responsible for customer-specific purchases for certain clients. Therefore, you maintain ongoing contact with suppliers to ensure that the right products and materials are in place on time.

This is a role where:

• you collaborate closely with both production and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Prepare articles for production
• Create and quality-assure production documentation
• Handle customer documentation and technical drawings
• Work in Adobe Illustrator and other relevant systems
• Ensure documentation functions correctly in production
• Manage customer-specific purchases
• Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers
• Conduct supplier visits as needed
• Collaborate with various departments within the company to ensure quality and delivery

We believe you have

• Experience in technical pre-press or production preparation
• Good technical understanding
• Experience reading and working with technical drawings
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar drawing/layout programs is an advantage
• Experience in production-related work
• Experience in purchasing or supplier contact is an advantage
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
