Do you want to develop as a Controller in a business where analysis, data quality, and continuous improvement are in focus? We are now looking for a Junior Controller for our headquarters in Karlstad. The role is part of an initiative to develop and strengthen the controlling function. You will have the opportunity to shape working methods, processes, and reporting in an organization with high ambitions within analysis and business support. The role suits you who are analytical, detail-oriented, and want to contribute to developing and streamlining financial processes in an international industrial group.

As a Junior Controller, you will become an important part of the finance department and work closely with our Controllers and the Head of Controlling. You will have a central role in ensuring the quality of our reporting and creating conditions for more value-creating analysis within the controlling function.

About the role

As a Junior Controller, you will become an important part of the finance department and work closely with both the Head of Controlling and our Segment Controllers. You will have a broad role where you contribute to everything from reporting, closing, budgeting, and data quality. You are responsible for collecting, ensuring quality, and following up on operationally critical cost data and contribute to developing and streamlining our working methods.

The role is an important part of our initiative to develop the controlling function, where we shift focus from administration to analysis and value-creating business support. A large part of the role involves ensuring quality and efficiency in financial reporting through data validation, follow-up, and analysis.

An important part of the assignment is to improve the quality of the information we use to steer the business. By ensuring that the right data is available and maintains high quality, you create conditions for better analysis and more accurate decisions.

The role gives you a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation within controlling while gaining insight into an international manufacturing operation. You will become part of a team that works close to the business and has the opportunity to develop within analysis, business management, and financial follow-up. The role is also a natural development platform for you who, in the long term, want to take greater responsibility within controlling and business management.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a great interest in finance, data, and analysis. You work in a structured and meticulous manner while having a good ability to collaborate with colleagues in different parts of the business. You thrive working both operationally and analytically and are motivated by developing processes and working methods.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • A university degree in economics or engineering, preferably with elements of mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative subjects
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • A structured and meticulous working style
  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships within the organization
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in reporting, controlling, or financial follow-up
  • Experience from the manufacturing industry
  • Experience with business systems and BI tools

About the employment

The position is full-time, permanent. The location is Karlstad. Travel to our other facilities occurs. Start date according to agreement.
