Höglandsförbundet is a municipal association formed by Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. These five municipalities, located on the Småland highlands, value cooperation and know that we become stronger together. By combining our strengths and resources, we can increase competence, utilize resources more efficiently, improve quality, and provide better service to residents. Today, we host a number of different operations working for the benefit of the entire High Region.

Within Höglandsförbundet, there is also the High Region Education Collaboration, which currently consists of Höglandsgymnasiet with schools in Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. In total, we have approximately 550 employees working to ensure that our approximately 3,000 students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the future in working life or further studies. In the summer of 2026, the High Region adult education programs will also join, located in Sävsjö, Eksjö, and Nässjö.

Your new job

We are looking for a teacher who can teach technology courses such as Technology 1, Technology 2, Automated Processes, Computer and Communication Technology, and Product Development. You will be part of the teaching team belonging to the Technology Programme.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and following up on teaching according to the current curriculum. You adapt the teaching to the students' individual needs and prerequisites, and actively work to create an inclusive and motivating learning environment.

About you

We are looking for you who have a teacher's license in the subject of technology. It is an advantage if you have experience teaching Computer and Communication Technology and Automated Processes (mechatronics). We would also like you to have worked with 3D technology. If you have another educational background that is relevant for teaching these subjects, as well as experience in teaching, you are welcome to apply.

As a person, you easily build trusting relationships, and you lead, motivate, and create engagement and participation among students, both individually and in classroom situations. You have a good understanding that students have different ways of absorbing knowledge and can adapt your teaching based on different students' prerequisites. You take responsibility for your teaching and collaborate with your colleagues, both in subject groups, work teams, and student health teams, so that together you can develop both teaching and the programme. You are flexible and see opportunities in changes.

The extent of the position depends on your subject qualification and competence. We may call in for the first interview during the ongoing advertising period, so do not wait with your application.

To ensure that all new employees in our teaching positions have the correct qualifications, we ask you to attach a valid teacher's license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education and that is not older than two months.

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement, in accordance with the Education Act, that you present an extract from the criminal record for work within the school. You request this extract on the police's website.

If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove your citizenship. You do this by showing a valid passport or a certificate of personal status together with a valid ID document. A certificate of personal status is ordered from the Tax Agency under "My Pages." If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland, you must also be able to present a valid residence and/or work permit to work in Sweden. Employment can only take place after the work permit has been checked, in accordance with the Aliens Ordinance.
