Your role

Do you want to be the link between business, technology, and procurement, ensuring that Saab Naval receives the right products, from the right suppliers, at the right time, and at the right cost? We are looking for a driven Product Sourcing Manager who wants to develop our procurement business in close collaboration with the Project Operations.

As Product Sourcing Manager, you are the main contact for sourcing towards our ongoing and upcoming projects. You translate project needs into concrete procurement activities – from early business opportunities to the delivery of finished products. You work proactively and solution-oriented, identifying risks, problems, and change needs, and escalating them to the right stakeholders and decision-makers.

Examples of areas of responsibility:

• Represent sourcing in product and project steering groups as well as pulse/follow-up meetings.
• Ensure clear and continuous strategic alignment between sourcing and the project's key stakeholders.
• Develop medium- and long-term capacity forecasts, and analyze and communicate sourcing resource requirements based on business needs, priorities, product roadmaps, and schedules.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analyses for products and suppliers together with strategic procurement.
• Drive risk-reducing initiatives together with strategic procurement and prepare decision support materials for internal forums.
• Support the resolution of project-related delivery and supply challenges.
• Define, clarify, and secure procurement-related work packages in collaboration with project management.
• Monitor and communicate progress regarding time-critical procurement activities, budget, and cost savings.
• Lead initiatives for lead time reduction, cost optimization, and reduced single-source risks.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of documented experience from procurement, supply chain management, or project management, preferably in a complex, technically advanced environment.
• Has knowledge of strategic procurement and established tendering methods/best practices.
• Is a strong communicator with the ability to influence, build trust, and drive collaboration at multiple levels within the organization.
• Is strategic and holistic, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Has good analytical and decision-making skills and can balance complexity with pragmatism.
• Thrives in a role that combines business focus with technical understanding and a structured work approach.
• An academic degree in, for example, industrial economics, economics, logistics, engineering, or similar is meritorious.
• Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at any given time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
