Your primary placement is at a special housing facility for the elderly in the scenic area of Björna. The role also involves working in nearby geographical areas when needed, primarily Björna, Gideå, and Husum. This means you need to enjoy variety, be able to adapt to the operational needs, and see the value in contributing where your skills are needed most.

Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you are responsible for both specific and general care, with the patient's needs in focus. You plan and prioritize your work together with colleagues based on the current needs of the operation, which means a varied role where you can work across several units.

You play a central role in the team and collaborate with other nurses, care assistants, and other professions. At the same time, the role requires you to be confident in working independently, making your own decisions, and structuring your work based on the situation at hand.

With your medical competence, you contribute to creating security, continuity, and high quality in care. You mentor colleagues and students and provide support to relatives. Together, you work towards a meaningful and secure daily life for the patients.

Since leadership is not always present in your immediate vicinity, you need to feel comfortable taking responsibility in daily work, while having support from managers and colleagues both on-site and remotely.

Qualifications

You are a registered nurse. Experience from municipal health and social care is meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have mentoring training or other advanced training, for example as a district nurse, geriatric care, or psychiatry.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a good ability to work independently, and sees themselves as part of a team. You have a good manner of dealing with people, can prioritize in everyday life, and contribute to a positive and solution-focused work climate. You enjoy variety and see opportunities to develop working methods together with others.

A valid driver's license, category B, is a requirement.

During the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Approved documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license + residence certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that strengthens citizenship. We appreciate knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are classified for security, so security clearance may be conducted. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
