About the Operations

Länssjukvård Somatik coordinates specialized somatic care in the region. The operations encompass eleven county hospital units with approximately 2,400 employees, operating at three hospitals in Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as at several clinics throughout the county.

The Hearing Care Department is responsible for rehabilitation, habilitation, interpretation services, and technical support for people of all ages with hearing loss, deafness, deafblindness, or other hearing impairments. Our hearing centers are located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik. We are approximately 40 employees with broad and consolidated expertise, offering early, coordinated, and comprehensive interventions with the patient in focus.

We are now seeking audiologists for permanent full-time positions, with start date according to agreement. Location in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Sollefteå, or Örnsköldsvik.

Job Responsibilities

The work with us is very varied. As an audiologist, you receive both new patients and follow-up visits. Your main responsibilities include:

• Hearing diagnostics
• Prescribing and fitting hearing aids and other assistive devices

To ensure that you, as a newly hired audiologist, feel welcome and secure, and to provide the best conditions for your new work, we have operation-specific routines for the introduction of new employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed audiologist, or are in the final semester of the audiologist program
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you

• Have knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic
