About the Operations

County Hospital Somatic Care coordinates specialized somatic care in the region. The operations include eleven county hospital units with approximately 2,400 employees, operating at three hospitals in Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as at several clinics throughout the county.

The Hearing Care Service is responsible for rehabilitation, habilitation, interpretation services, and technical support for people of all ages with hearing loss, deafness, deaf-blindness, or other hearing impairments. Our hearing centers are located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik. We are approximately 40 employees with broad and combined expertise, offering early, coordinated, and comprehensive interventions with the patient in focus.

We are now looking for Audiologists for permanent full-time positions, with start date as agreed. Location in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Sollefteå, or Örnsköldsvik.

Job Responsibilities

Work with us is highly varied. As an audiologist, you receive both new patients and follow-up visits. Your main responsibilities include:

• Hearing diagnostics
• Prescribing and fitting hearing aids and other assistive devices

To ensure that you, as a newly hired audiologist, feel welcome and secure while getting the best conditions for your new job, we have operation-specific routines for the introduction of new employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed audiologist, or is in the final semester of the audiologist program.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic.
