Valla Care and Nursing Home is a specialized housing facility with four departments located in central Örnsköldsvik. We are currently looking for new employees who want to contribute to creating a good quality of life for our residents.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary task as an employee is to provide support, motivation, and care to our residents. We work with a health-promoting approach aimed at strengthening individuals' own abilities, ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life – for life.

Involvement, development, and community are key words for us. Through continuous improvements, we create the conditions for high-quality care.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Personal care
• Case management responsibilities
• Social and physical activities together with the residents

We work in a team-based manner, meaning that many different professional groups collaborate to create a good quality of life and a safe environment for our residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant (undersköterska) or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. It is meritorious if you have further education in elderly care and/or dementia, or a focus on psychiatry. Experience working in healthcare and social services is an advantage.

It is important that you enjoy working with people, are flexible, and open to new ideas and ways of working.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is meritorious.

About the Welfare Administration

Identity Check and Security Clearance

As part of the interview process, we conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license with a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or other ID documents that prove citizenship. For some positions, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal records are required.

We welcome knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

Since several positions in the municipality are classified for security reasons, security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
