3 positionsDo you want to make a difference for children and young people through professional, legally secure and relational social work? We are now looking for several child investigators for our child and youth operations.

Here you will have the opportunity to work with meaningful and varied tasks in close collaboration both within our own operations and together with other actors such as schools, healthcare and the police. We have a clear child rights profile and work based on BBIC (Children's Needs at the Center) or equivalent methodology.

About the assignment

As a child investigator within the social services, you are responsible for:

  • Investigating, assessing and making decisions according to current legislation such as SoL and LVU
  • Carrying out qualified investigative work with the child's needs at the center
  • Meeting children, young people and families in a professional, safe and respectful way
  • Working supportively and motivationally to create participation and conditions for change
  • Collaborating with the child's network as well as internal and external actors such as schools, care and other authorities
  • Documenting and processing cases legally secure according to current legislation and guidelines

Here you work purely with the investigation process, and it is our intervention handlers who work with the follow-up of interventions.

Is this you?

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a social work degree or other higher education that the employer considers equivalent
  • Have experience of social work, preferably investigative work with children and young people
  • Have a good ability to create and maintain professional relationships
  • Have an attentive, respectful and validating approach
  • Have good self-insight and the ability to meet children and people in affect, crisis or conflict with calm and professionalism
  • Have the ability to make realistic and well-founded assessments
  • Can see the whole picture and weigh in several perspectives in your work
  • Are flexible and can adapt to changed needs and situations
  • Enjoy collaboration and contribute to a good working climate
  • Are stable and can maintain calm and structure even during periods of high workload
  • Have a B driver's license for a manual transmission car

It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of current legislation, regulations and guidelines within social services.

Salary between 36,000 and 52,400 depending on experience and responsibility. The final salary is determined individually and is based on a comprehensive assessment of your educational background, previous experience, and in which area you have worked previously.
