Kunskapsskolan Enskede is looking for a certified teacher in mathematics for grades 6–9

Kunskapsskolan Enskede is a primary school for grades 6–9 and currently has approximately 530 students. The school started in 2001 and is located near Sockenplan metro station and bus stop, with connections from e.g., Gullmarsplan and Älvsjö station. At our school, we have a stable staff group and happy students who thrive and achieve high academic results.

To ensure every student reaches as far as possible, we need professional teachers with a strong commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, and therefore we are looking for you who always work actively to ensure your students succeed. In addition to being subject teachers, most teachers are personal mentors to about twenty students and have an individual mentoring conversation with each of their students every week. The mentor helps them plan and set goals for their studies and follows up on the goals together with both the students and their guardians.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced team spirit. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in working groups and subject groups. The openness between teachers is great, and we share a common responsibility for our students.

To facilitate your work and enable you to focus your time on the students, we have gathered a large part of our teaching materials on our digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for working methods, tasks, and teaching materials. We work with both digital and analog teaching materials.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in mathematics for grades 6–9. You should be well-versed in LGR-22 (the Swedish curriculum for compulsory school, preschool class, and after-school programs) and formative assessment.

Desirable qualifications

We would appreciate it if you had a few years of experience in teaching and mentoring or advisory roles. We want you to be easy to collaborate with and communicate with colleagues, students, and guardians, and to be solution-focused.

We place great value on your commitment, your pedagogical competence, and your mentoring skills. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can build trust among students. Qualifications in multiple subjects are desirable.

Job Description
The position is 100%, permanent with a 6-month probation period, and involves mentoring as well as teaching mathematics. Start date: August 5, 2026.
