About Glumslöv School
In calm and nature-rich surroundings, with a view of the Öresund and the beautiful island of Ven, lies Glumslöv School. Geographically, Glumslöv is an excellent village to commute to, with good opportunities for transportation by bus, train, bicycle, or car. The school is a grades 1-9 school with approximately 500 students and is part of the Härslöv/Glumslöv school district with a shared principal, student health team, and professional development.
We work closely with our students, and by leveraging students' drive for learning based on each child's learning potential, we together find new and exciting paths to knowledge and learning. Our prioritized goals for the school year 2026/2027 are safety and study peace, and quality teaching to increase goal fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities
Do you want to help create a safe, inspiring, and meaningful everyday life for children? Are you an engaged and creative educator who loves building relationships, leading activities, and contributing to children's development? Then you are the recess teacher we are looking for!
As a recess teacher at Glumslöv School, you are responsible for creating an inspiring and developmental environment for students during their time in the recess program. You work both during school hours as a pedagogical resource in the classroom and after school hours in the recess center. The role involves actively contributing to students' social and personal development through structured activities, play, and learning. The work can be both independent and as part of our engaged team. Here, you will have a meaningful assignment where you help shape children's everyday life from play to learning.
The daily work consists of, among other things:
- Planning and implementing meaningful activities that promote students' development and learning in the recess center.
- Supporting students pedagogically during school hours as a resource in the classroom.
- Creating safety and structure through clear frameworks, low-affective interaction, and good leadership.
- Building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues to promote cooperation and well-being.
- Contributing to the development of the activity through innovative thinking, initiative-taking, and goal-oriented work.

Requirements and Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a certified recess teacher who is a safe and clear teacher with a low-affective and attentive approach. You have a natural ability to meet each student based on their needs and create an environment where children feel seen and appreciated. You are relationship-building, structured, and actively contribute to a positive culture in the recess center and the work team. We value your initiative and solution-focused approach. You thrive in collaboration, are creative in your pedagogy, and see possibilities in every meeting with children, guardians, and your colleagues.
Competency Requirements:
- Educated and qualified recess teacher
- Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish
Supervisor training is meritorious as we are a partner school with the task of receiving teacher students. Another merit is swimming ability, as swimming instruction may occur.
