About the workplace: Ekebyskolan

Ekebyskolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 250 students from preschool class to grade 6. Around 45 employees work here, who enjoy their workplace and each other. In the intermediate school level, we have two classes in each grade. The school is located in a villa area in Djursholm with a nature-friendly surroundings. We believe that a safe climate where everyone feels comfortable is the best foundation for good learning. Job Description: After-School Center Teacher

Responsibilities

As an after-school center teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and developing the education in the after-school center in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum Lgr22 (chapters 1, 2, and 4) as well as the Education Act. The responsibility also includes ensuring the after-school center's work to stimulate students' development and learning, as well as offering a meaningful leisure time that promotes security, participation, and social community. The school's compulsory education and the after-school center's activities should together form a whole.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with a focus on after-school centers.
• Has experience teaching in after-school centers.
• Has very good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish.

We are looking for someone who has pedagogical skills and works in a structured manner. You are communicative and team-oriented. It is important for you to create good and trust-inspiring relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and adapt easily to the current situation. You are a stable person who handles pressure with a low-affective approach, is constructive, and acts professionally in pressured situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
