About the workplace

Snyggatorpsskolan is a secondary school in Klippan. Approximately 500 students attend the school. The school is located in central Klippan, and it is equally easy to get to school by train or by car. Approximately 60 people work at the school: teachers, administration, and student health services. In 2024, the school concluded a collaboration with the Swedish National Agency for Education, "Cooperation for the Best School," to improve our results. This work has yielded good returns and continues at the school. Adapted primary school facilities are located in adjacent premises.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in textile crafts with us, you are responsible for:

Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in textile crafts according to Lgr22
Adapting teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites
Working language-developing and inclusive in your teaching
Assessing, documenting, and following up on students' knowledge development
Creating a safe, structured, and motivating learning environment
Contributing to strengthening students' self-confidence and desire to learn
Collaborating closely with colleagues, student health services, and school leadership
Actively participating in the school's development work

The position is 85% in textile crafts, but can be combined with teaching in another subject, study support, or other assignments depending on your competence and the needs of the operations.

Qualifications and Merits

You are a certified teacher in grades 7-9 textile crafts.
Good knowledge of the school's governing documents, especially Lgr22.
Experience in teaching, assessment, and documentation.
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
Basic digital competence.
It is an advantage if you also have qualifications in an additional subject.

Employment terms and conditions

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start: According to agreement, end: 2026-08-31.
