Staffing Coordinator at Varberg Municipality
We are Varberg Municipality, the employer who sees the potential in you. Here, you can make a difference, both for others and for yourself. We are driven by the idea of simplifying people's daily lives and realizing their dreams. We do this through knowledge, innovative courage, and a forward-looking spirit. Join us in working towards our vision – to become the creative hub of the west coast.
The municipal staffing department is responsible for handling staffing needs within the preschool and primary school administration, the social services administration, and the service administration. The department provides support in staffing planning, supplies hourly-paid employees, and supports operations in managing temporarily surplus staff.
Do you want a key role where you can combine structure, collaboration, and development? We are now looking for a Staffing Coordinator who wants to help create conditions for efficient, high-quality, and sustainable staffing in our operations.
1 position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
With us, you will have a varied and responsible role where you make a difference every day. You work both operationally and developmentally to plan, coordinate, and develop staffing processes.
In this role, you are responsible for matching and appointing staff based on incoming orders in Time Care Pool, as well as ensuring staffing in finalized schedules in Multi Access. You maintain ongoing contact with hourly-paid employees and the operations we support, primarily via phone, Microsoft Teams, and email. A key part of the assignment is to build and maintain good collaborations with the operations to understand their needs and ensure sustainable staffing over time.
You actively work on creating, developing, and improving routines and working methods that contribute to stable and efficient staffing. The role also includes following up on and analyzing key figures, such as availability, the Employment Protection Act (LAS), and utilization rates, to optimize resource usage. You ensure that current laws and agreements are followed and use staffing systems, such as Time Care Pool, as support in your work.
A central part of the assignment is to provide professional and service-oriented support to both operations and employees. You actively contribute to operational development and improvement work, helping to drive development forward.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in HR, administration, payroll, public administration, or another post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in staffing planning, scheduling, or coordination and good knowledge of the collective agreement General Provisions (AB) and the Employment Protection Act (LAS). You are accustomed to working in staffing systems and feel confident handling multiple tasks in parallel, even at a high pace.
It is meritorious if you have experience from public sector operations, have worked with follow-up and analysis of staffing, or have been involved in development and change work.
We would like you to be structured, solution-focused, and have a good ability to prioritize. You collaborate well with others, build trust in your contacts, and have a genuine service focus. You contribute to a positive work environment and have a holistic perspective on how staffing affects operations.
To succeed in the role, you must have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as the work involves ongoing communication with operations as well as documentation and administration in our operational systems.
We offer you an assignment where you get to influence, develop, and make a difference.
