About the Role

This position entails overall responsibility for the facility's environmental and sustainability work. You will also collaborate with your colleague who holds overall responsibility for quality and food safety tasks.

A central part of the role is to manage the facility's environmental work, including environmental permits, control programs, environmental reporting, as well as the development of working methods and routines. You will also be involved in the work with Hafi's wastewater treatment plant, focusing on monitoring, optimization, and further development of water treatment processes.

Sustainability issues include, among other things, supplier assessments, sustainable raw material supply, and social responsibility.

Examples of tasks:

  • Manage contacts with authorities, inspections, surveys, and audits within the environmental field.
  • Collect, follow up, and report key figures related to environment and sustainability.
  • Drive improvement work together with production.
  • Participate in supplier assessments related to sustainable raw material supply and social responsibility.
  • Conduct process controls and internal audits.
  • Review specifications and analysis certificates and ensure correct system information.

You will be employed by Hafi and report to the Quality Manager for Hafi & SIA Glass. We have close cooperation within the group, and tasks may be shared between the businesses. A fantastic work environment with good products and pleasant colleagues is part of the role.

About You

We are looking for you who have documented experience in environmental work and permit processes, preferably within manufacturing industry. You have good experience working in various systems. Experience within food production and quality assurance in accordance with HACCP is meritorious but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who is orderly, structured, and enjoys laws and regulations. You are also socially competent, pragmatic, and clear in your communication. Collaborating, both internally and externally, is something you thrive in. Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing are required.

Employment Details
