Do you want to be part of developing HR work in our parish district, which was formed at the turn of the year? We are looking for an HR specialist who wants to help shape the district's common structures and create good conditions for our managers and our new organization. About Kungsbacka Parish District

Kungsbacka Parish District was formed in January 2026 and includes the parishes of Kungsbacka-Hanhals, Tölö, and Älvsåker, as well as funeral services on six churchyards. There are approximately 18,000 church members and around 60 employees here. The parish district offers a rich and varied worship and parish life with people who wish to share the church's faith and life, providing a good platform for continued development.

As a new parish district, we are now creating common structures and ways of working, while each parish continues its local work. Openness and inclusion are key words for us.

About the Position

As an HR specialist with us, you will have broad responsibility for developing and coordinating the parish district's HR work. You will work closely with the parish priest, who is also your direct manager, and become an important part of the district's leadership support. You will, among other things, sit on the leadership group and be a member of the parish district's Working Environment Committee.

Since we are a newly formed parish district, there are great opportunities here to help shape the work. You will develop many routines and processes, lay the foundation for common structures, and contribute to creating a secure and clear HR function. The role involves both operational HR work and strategic development.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • Recruitment, onboarding, and competence supply
  • Employment law issues and union cooperation
  • Manager support and advice, which includes actively supporting managers in various types of personnel matters
  • Organizational and social working environment
  • Rehabilitation and wellness
  • Payroll processes
  • Developing and improving the parish district's HR strategy and common ways of working

This is a role where you get to build – not just maintain. You will follow the parish district through a change process where structures are formed, collaborations emerge, and where you as an HR specialist play a central role in creating clarity, sustainability, and long-term viability.

Qualifications

  • University education as a human resources professional or other relevant education.
  • At least three years of experience in broad HR work.
  • Good knowledge of employment law and experience with union negotiations.
  • Good experience handling various types of personnel matters.
  • Experience working with HR in a developing organization is an advantage.

Conditions

  • Permanent position, 100%.
