We are now looking for an Accounting Assistant who wants to become a key part of our finance department. Here, you will work in a varied and important role where you contribute to ensuring efficient and accurate financial administration while also taking responsibility for the daily operations of our office in Halmstad. You will become part of an engaged team where collaboration, quality, and development are at the forefront.

Responsibilities

• Processing and registering incoming supplier invoices.
• Accounting for certain supplier invoices.
• Customer invoicing.
• Payments and bank reconciliations.
• Reminder and collections management.
• Some ongoing bookkeeping.
• Administrative support during monthly and annual closing.
• Processing of expense claims and travel accounts.
• Contact with customers, suppliers, and employees.
• Office management – ongoing purchase of office supplies and food, receiving visitors, general kitchen duties, etc.

We are looking for someone who

• Has education in finance or equivalent experience.
• Has experience in financial administration.
• Has experience with business or financial systems and good knowledge of Excel.
• Is meticulous, structured, and responsible, and is used to working independently.
• Has good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach.
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish.

AF Bygg Syd AB was founded in Halmstad in 2007 and currently has approximately 85 employees, consisting of both office staff and tradespeople. The operations are run from our offices in Halmstad and Lund.

We operate within two main business areas: VA projects, focusing on water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as traditional construction activities. Our geographical market covers southern Sweden.

AF Bygg Syd AB has a turnover of approximately 700 MSEK and is part of the Norwegian, publicly listed construction and infrastructure group, AF Gruppen. Since April 2026, AF Bygg Syd AB has been the majority owner of H.A. Bygg Entreprenad AB, which has its office in Gothenburg.
