About the role
As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for production within our wood industry division. You ensure that operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and with high quality. The role involves close collaboration with both the production team and NP Group's management.
Working conditions
Location: Våxtorp
Employment type: Full-time, permanent with an initial probationary period
Working hours: Daytime with some flexibility as needed
Your responsibilities
Responsible for daily production operations. In our factories, we primarily manufacture materials for the furniture and kitchen industries.
Lead, coach, and develop personnel.
Ensure production efficiency, quality, and delivery precision.
Work on improvement projects and process optimization.
Monitor key figures, budget, and results.
Have responsibility for the work environment and ensure safe operations.
Plan production and resources.
Collaborate with maintenance, purchasing, and sales.
Be able to step into production when needed.
About you
Have experience in a leadership role within industry, preferably wood industry.
Have a good understanding of production, flows, and machinery.
Are a confident, clear, and present leader.
Have a business-minded approach and are driven by results.
Are structured and solution-oriented.
Have good communication skills.
Qualifications that would be an advantage
Experience from planing mills, sawmills, or wood processing.
Technical education or equivalent experience.
Experience with Lean or other improvement work.
Personal qualities
You are communicative, decisive, and highly motivated. You work in a structured manner, possess business acumen, and act with integrity. Furthermore, you are flexible, solution-focused, and appreciate working both in teams and independently.
