Within the Business Area (BA) Acute and Medicine, approximately 270 employees work within cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonary medicine, rheumatology, endoscopy, internal medicine, gastroenterology, neurology, and acute medicine. The BA includes an extensive specialist clinic, an emergency clinic, and three inpatient wards. At the hospital, we also have BA clinics and rehabilitation as well as planned surgeries.

Within the operations, several change initiatives are underway within regular activities and in special regional projects. Responsibilities

In the role of Specialist/Senior Physician with us, you work in ward, clinic, and consultancy activities. You are also part of the internal medicine on-call line. You work broadly within general cardiology and are involved in examinations such as echocardiography (UKG), Holter monitoring, and exercise ECG.

The advertisement concerns a fixed-term employment of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare and who have specialist competence in cardiology. It is an advantage if you are a double specialist in internal medicine. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

As a person, you have a professional attitude and work solution-focused. We see that you have good communicative and empathetic abilities as a good attitude towards patients and colleagues is important to us. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
