Job Description

Do you want to be part of developing tomorrow's home healthcare? We are looking for an engaged and driven Supervising Nurse who wants to contribute to high quality, safe care, and continuous competence development within our operations.

In this role, you will have a central function that combines supervision, quality work, and patient safety responsibility with close collaboration between operations, HSL (Health and Social Care) management, and external parties.

As a Supervising Nurse, you are responsible for supervising and supporting home care staff in nursing work and acting as a link between operations and HSL management in identifying, improving, and developing care processes. You clarify and implement MAS instructions in operations as needed and prepare the annual patient safety report. Together with two other Supervising Nurses, you are responsible for patient safety and quality by ensuring that:

• Patients receive safe and appropriate healthcare of good quality within the municipality's area of responsibility
• Prescribed healthcare from doctors is followed
• Delegation decisions are made and followed up in a patient-safe manner
• Patient records are kept according to current legislation and the Patient Data Act

You are also responsible for ensuring that operations have well-functioning and appropriate routines for medication management, reporting according to Chapter 6, Section 4 of the Patient Safety Act, and contact with doctors or other healthcare personnel when the patient's condition requires it.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are experienced, stable, and structured in your approach to work. You work purposefully, plan your work well, and take responsibility for completing tasks with high quality. You have the ability to handle pressure and change in a constructive way and are confident in your professional role, even in complex or demanding situations.

You have a clear interest in supervision, education, quality and improvement work, as well as patient safety and collaboration, and you have experience working in these areas. You keep up to date within your profession and monitor relevant developments to drive your own development work. As a person, you are relationship-building and collaborative. You take initiative in interaction with others, build trust, and contribute to solutions focused on the common goals of the operations.

For this position, it is required that you have a good command of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as computer literacy and the ability to handle relevant modern technology. You also need a valid driver's license (Category B).

You are:

• A registered nurse
• Experienced in municipal primary care
• Experienced in supervision and education
• Experienced in improvement and development work
• Accustomed to collaboration between different professions and functions
• Interested and knowledgeable in quality work and patient safety
