About the workplaces in Löderup

Warmly welcome to Löderupsgården – the residence with everything for our elderly; a special housing facility focused on somatic care and dementia, respite care, and short-term placements. In the building, we also collaborate with other operations such as Seniorernas Hus and our cozy restaurant, which is open to the public. Löderupsgården is located in beautiful natural surroundings, about two miles outside Ystad on the lush Österlen, where we work to ensure our elderly thrive in a home-like environment, where joy and laughter are a natural part of daily life.

Löderup Home Help is a secure and close-to-home operation based on Fabriksgatan in Löderup, directly adjacent to Löderupsgården. With the same warmth, commitment, and care that characterizes the residence, we work to create security and quality of life in our users' own homes. In the beautiful natural surroundings of Österlen, you travel by car between assignments and meet people in the eastern parts of Ystad Municipality. Job Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference this summer? We are looking for you who want to work as a substitute in elderly care in the beautiful nature of Löderup on Österlen. With us, you get meaningful work where you contribute to the well-being of others while having fun with colleagues and gaining invaluable experience.

As part of our team, you work closely with people and support them in their daily lives. Job responsibilities may include, for example:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Support with meals, cleaning, and other daily chores
• Social interaction and safe treatment
• Accompanying to medical visits, activities, or errands
• Working based on self-help assistance to strengthen independence
• Medication management after approved delegation

Support is needed around the clock, which means you can work days, evenings, or nights, both weekdays and weekends. You drive a car in home help services.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a warm approach and a genuine desire to help others. Experience or education is meritorious, but your attitude and commitment are most important to us. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

Requirements

• Work in home help and special housing may involve solo work, threat and violence situations, heavy lifting, and medication management. According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on the working environment for minors (AFS 2023:2 chap. 8), such work is not allowed for minors. Therefore, the person employed must have turned 18 by June 30th at the latest.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written.
• You can handle physically demanding work with a lot of movement where heavy lifting may occur.
• You work according to basic hygiene routines and in a short-sleeved shirt.
• You can work with both men and women.

Meritorious

• Education in nursing or pedagogy (attach relevant grades/certificates when applying).
• Experience of similar work in elderly care or LSS (Social Services Act).
• Category B driver's license.

Other Information

• An extract from the police criminal record will be requested before any employment.
