We are currently looking for a medical secretary for a temporary position at the Child and Adolescent Clinic.

As a medical secretary at the Child and Adolescent Clinic, you are part of our administrative service and knowledge function at the clinic. We work systematically with medical record writing, mail, telephone calls, and other typical secretarial tasks. This also includes some reception duties. The responsibilities also include booking, calling in, and rescheduling patients.

We work together in an open-plan office on the children's floor and collaborate closely with other staff. We have operations in both Karlskrona and Karlshamn. The primary workplace/location is Karlskrona, but work may occasionally take place in Karlshamn.

Region Blekinge assigns all permanent staff to wartime duties. Some of our positions are security-classified, requiring the employee to undergo a security clearance interview and register check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About you

We are looking for you who have a completed higher vocational education (YH) as a medical secretary, or alternatively as a doctor's secretary.

Training in medical coding is an advantage. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, medical terminology, and the Office package is desirable. Experience working in NCS Cross is a plus.

You should be positive, flexible, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You are not afraid to take initiative.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
