Job Description

As a Business Developer with a focus on developing collaboration between school and working life, you work on creating and maintaining relationships and partnerships. Through this, you contribute to strengthening the region's competitiveness and future competence supply.

Your role involves initiating and developing projects, organizing activities and meetings, and creating arenas for experience sharing and knowledge transfer. The goal is to create meaningful collaborations that prepare students for the future working life and equip them for future study choices.

You are driven by an interest in our operations. You want to drive the development of collaboration with the business community and find ways and methods to, in cooperation with other actors, increase motivation and spark curiosity among children and young people regarding future career opportunities within the expanding technical field. The position also includes serving as the local process leader for Teknikcollege Karlskrona.

As a Business Developer, you work both in a team and independently within the development unit of the Development and Business Support department. You also collaborate with other administrations in cross-administrative groups and have close cooperation with study and career counselors as well as principals.

Through your good communicative skills in speech and writing, you can convey and present information and materials to different target groups. You are self-initiating and responsible.

You are accustomed to driving change work that challenges current working methods and routines, and you have experience working in a process-oriented manner. You are confident in leading training sessions and workshops based on the administration's operational needs.

Qualifications

Education

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A pedagogical university degree or another degree that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Competence in project management.
  • Familiarity with the Swedish school system's steering documents as well as control and responsibility systems.
  • Very good ability to express oneself in writing and very good oral communication skills.
  • Experience in pedagogically delivering lectures and presentations.

Merits

  • Experience from the public sector with a focus on upper secondary school.
  • Experience of collaboration with the business community.
