Accountant – Are you our new star?

We are now looking for a driven Accountant for an exciting assignment with one of our clients. You will become part of the finance department and work closely with the Accounting Manager as well as colleagues within both finance and the rest of the business. The assignment offers an independent role with good development opportunities and support from experienced colleagues. This is a consultancy position with good prospects for conversion to permanent employment with the client.

Responsibilities

In the role of Accountant, you will work broadly with financial processes, including:

• Invoicing and payment registration
• Accounts payable and payments
• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Monthly closing
• VAT returns
• Fixed asset accounting
• Annual accounts
• Tax returns
• Preparation of annual reports
• Support and guidance to the business on financial matters

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• An academic degree in economics or equivalent
• Several years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• A good understanding of the entire financial flow

You are flexible and have a no-nonsense attitude, ready to support where needed. The role requires you to be meticulous, structured, and analytical, while also possessing strong communication skills and thriving in a role with many contact points.
