Job Description

As a Technical Information Specialist, you will work iteratively and independently to visualize and produce clear instructions for the company's machinery and processes. Your primary focus will be on creating and updating user-friendly operator manuals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Data Collection: Proactive information gathering through interviews with operators and production experts, photography, and image and text management on-site.
• Material Production: Create, structure, and layout pedagogical documents and instructions in relevant templates and systems (currently primarily in PowerPoint).
• Review Process: Coordinate and drive approval processes together with relevant stakeholders and technical competence.
• Quality Assurance: Analyze, develop, and adapt technical information to continuously improve readability, understanding, and information flow for different target groups.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and has a genuine interest in technical communication. To fit the role, we see that you have:

• Documented experience working as a Technical Information Specialist or Technical Writer, specifically within the industry or manufacturing sector.
• Good knowledge of the Machinery Directive and general machine safety.
• Very good skills in Office programs, with a special focus on building structured material in PowerPoint.
• High linguistic sensitivity and the ability to adapt style, tone, and structure to the needs of the target audience (better readability and understanding).
• Strong self-drive with the ability to work independently and systematically. You are structured, detail-oriented, and skilled at building good relationships with many different stakeholders.

Hire-to-Purchase Arrangement: This assignment starts as a consultancy role through us, but there is a clear intention and goal to offer a permanent employment to the right candidate after the assignment is completed.

• Start Date: After summer (by agreement).
• Assignment Duration: Approx. 9 months as a consultant (with a view towards subsequent employment).
• Scope: 100% (Full-time).
• Location: Karlskrona (work is performed 100% on-site at the facility).
