Uppsala County is one of Sweden's fastest-growing counties with good communications and proximity to Arlanda Airport. Folktandvården has approximately 550 employees across 25 clinics with access to all specialties. To give our patients the best conditions for good dental health, we invest heavily in preventive care (Frisktandvård). Our Operations
Folktandvården Storvreta is located just north of Uppsala, in a child-friendly and pleasant area with excellent and fast train and bus connections from both south and north.
At the clinic, 20 employees work together, creating a good work climate and a positive work environment in modern and pleasant premises.
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to your work, value high quality, and have good collaboration skills. We welcome both experienced dentists and newly graduated candidates. Being new to the job is both exciting and fun, but can also involve other feelings. At our clinic, newly graduated dentists can participate in our apprentice program and are assigned a supervisor who provides extra support during your first year. Regardless of previous professional experience, as a new dentist at our clinic, you will find excellent development opportunities. You will have the chance to broaden your competence as a general dentist together with experienced colleagues at the clinic, deepen your knowledge in a specific area through observation and external/internal courses, or specialize if this is relevant.
Your Qualifications
To apply for this position, you must have completed a dental degree and obtained a license from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). We value your interest in all areas of dentistry and place great importance on your personal qualities. We would like you to have the following personal qualities:
- Work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what is started, and meet deadlines.
- Set goals for yourself and work hard and ambitiously to achieve them, doing what is necessary for a good result.
- Handle stress constructively, maintaining a good mood under pressure and during setbacks.
- Adapt and find win-win solutions through a goal-oriented focus without hierarchy.
