Your role

Your main responsibility will be to work on improvements and propose ways to streamline operations.

Main tasks:

• Provide ongoing support to the Machine Shop and White Shop by ensuring the right conditions in areas such as layout and workplace design, tools, work aids, and equipment.
• Operatively resolve issues and practically implement short-term improvement measures.
• Provide input for long-term improvement measures and production methods.
• Streamline existing processes and methods.
• Assist in preparing documentation and driving investments.
• Drive and document improvement work.
• Lead smaller projects – from idea to implementation and execution in production.

Your profile

• We are looking for you with a strong technical interest and practical skills, preferably with a few years of experience in production technology or workshop production.
• You have a strong internal drive and want to find ways forward to achieve results.
• You enjoy being in the "heat of the action" and are solution-oriented, tackling your tasks methodically and efficiently. You can solve tasks independently but also work well in a team.
• Academic ability to link/implement completed assignments and improvements into processes and instructions.
• Experience from manufacturing production.

Desirable/meritorious:

• Experience in machining and/or steel manufacturing in stainless material.
• Experience in production technology work.
• Experience working with small-batch production.
• Experience from the shipbuilding industry.
• Experience working in a project form.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
