Do you want to work in a high-tech testing environment where you lead the testing of future high-voltage cable systems while contributing to the green transition? Then this could be your next step!

At NKT, you will have the opportunity to work in one of Sweden's most advanced high-voltage laboratories. As a Test Leader, you will become a key person responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on tests for both customer projects and research and development projects. As a Test Leader, you are responsible for conducting electrical tests in our high-voltage laboratory with its associated test halls. You ensure that testing is performed according to current test plans, standards, and safety requirements while you plan and coordinate the work together with experienced fitters and other internal stakeholders.

You are responsible for your test sites and for ensuring that the test equipment functions and is correctly calibrated. The role involves close collaboration with planning, project, and production to create the best possible conditions for safe and successful tests according to set delivery plans. You also continuously work on identifying improvement opportunities within the operations and contribute to the development of the laboratory's equipment and working methods.

  • Drive improvement initiatives within the testing operations

In the role, you are also responsible for documenting conducted tests in test protocols and control cards, as well as ensuring that time records and technical documentation are kept up to date. You collaborate closely with project, production, and planning to create the right conditions for safe and efficient tests according to the delivery plans. The role also involves focusing on minimizing the impact on the surroundings, developing working methods, and identifying opportunities for improvements and investments in the laboratory's operations. On-call duty is included as a natural part of the role.

To thrive in the role, you are structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You collaborate well with different functions and are motivated by creating results together with others. Your technical understanding gives you good insight into equipment, processes, and testing operations, while you see opportunities for development and improvement.

Your qualifications:

  • University education in engineering or equivalent knowledge
  • Experience from technical operations or industrial environments
  • Good leadership and collaboration skills
  • Interest in technology, quality, and safety
  • Good administrative skills and experience with documentation
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
