The Orthopaedic Technology Centre is part of the Orthopaedic Clinic at Blekinge Hospital, with operations in both Karlskrona and Karlshamn. Job Description

As an Orthopaedic Technologist, you will encounter many types of assistive devices within various fields. We have scheduled clinics as well as on-call duties for acute operations. You will use your technical and biomechanical knowledge to design and adapt various assistive devices. For evaluations, you have access to a nearby gait analysis room. Regardless of the specific area, you will work both independently and in teams. We work from a person-centered approach with high responsibility, but also with great freedom to be creative. We offer stimulating work in a pleasant environment and a friendly team where we tailor your induction period.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed Orthopaedic Technologist after completing the relevant education. You should be positive and enjoy problem-solving. The work requires you to be service-oriented, responsible, and engaged. Flexibility is a given. Some years of experience is meritorious but not a requirement. We place great importance on how you function together with our employees; therefore, personal suitability and social competence are highly valued. A driver's license is desirable but not a requirement.
