About the role
Do you want to lead and develop Region South towards new successes? We are now looking for an engaged and present Regional Manager for our South area, with offices in Gothenburg, Växjö, and Malmö.
The position is based in Gothenburg, and we are seeking candidates in the Gothenburg area to find the right person to take on this role.
As a Regional Manager at Ambius, you work as a first-line manager. You lead the business based on a clear priority order: safety, employees, customer, and owner. You are part of a driving team together with other regional managers, where you jointly develop the business forward.
The role involves broad and stimulating responsibility, ensuring resource-efficient, optimized, and quality-assured daily operations in the service branch for Ambius in the region.
Your main areas of responsibility:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, engage, and develop your team through communicative, clear, and inclusive leadership.
- Overall Responsibility: Personnel, economic, quality, operational, management, work environment, and environmental responsibility for your region.
- Customer & Market: Build and maintain strong trust among customers, employees, and other stakeholders by acting as a true ambassador for Ambius.
- Value-driven Work: Drive the business in line with our four core values: Service, Relationships, Responsibility, and Teamwork.
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in this role, you are an experienced leader accustomed to working closely with your team, focusing on development and service. You have the ability to create engagement and ensure your team has the right conditions for success. Additionally, you are business-minded in your approach and enjoy taking responsibility for economics and results. You are also someone who can collaborate with various internal departments while maintaining an outward-looking customer focus. Since the region covers several locations, regular travel is part of the role.
About the employment
The position is a permanent full-time role starting with a six-month probationary period.
Requirements
Your profile
For this position, we believe you have the following background:
- Documented experience in leadership and team development with good results
- Strong communication skills and an inclusive leadership style. Clarity.

- Experience in the service industry
- Experience in salary-setting personnel responsibility with good results
- Experience in cost and profitability responsibility, economic follow-up, and budget responsibility
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Additional merits include experience in change management, matrix organizations, and/or international contexts.
Competencies and personal qualities
- Leadership, team, and group development
- Knowledge of labor market rules, basics of labor law, and negotiations.
- Proficient IT user
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing for communication with employees, customers, and stakeholders
- Good English in speech and writing for communication with colleagues in other countries and for the group's governing documents and information

- Business-minded in decision-making
- Positive and result-oriented
