We are expanding with a General Medicine Specialist at Kista Primary Care Centre – are you our new colleague?

Kista Primary Care Centre is a well-functioning centre that has been in operation since 1977, serving nearly 11,000 registered residents. Our team includes doctors, district nurses, reception nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, receptionists, rehab coordinators, and CBT psychologists. We are a team of approximately 30 people. All staff members contribute to developing the operations and participate in one of the centre's quality groups.

About the role:

Varied work with standard duties as a district doctor in primary care. You will see patients with acute and chronic conditions and also work preventatively. One day a week, you will work in home healthcare in close collaboration with a nurse. There is also an opportunity to work at the Child Health Centre (BVC). At Kista Primary Care Centre, you will meet patients of all ages! The role requires broad competence and independence. There is a great collaborative climate between doctors, nurses, and other professions at Kista. If it suits you, there is an option to work from home one day per week.

Employment type:

Permanent position. Full-time. Lower percentage of employment can be discussed if the applicant desires. Probation period may apply. Start date by agreement.

Requirements:

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine and eligibility to practice within Swedish healthcare. Experience working in Swedish healthcare, preferably in primary care, is meritorious. Experience with the medical record system TakeCare is meritorious.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area (SLSO):

- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
