About the role

In Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care in Huddinge, we work across various specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, urology, ENT, dermatology, and transplantation. As an anaesthesia nurse with us, you will become a key member of our team and play a central role in ensuring our patients receive safe operations and excellent nursing care.

A typical workday involves fast-paced flows with a variety of day surgery procedures (orthopedics, gynecology, urology, ENT, access procedures, dermatology, plastic surgery, maxillofacial), contributing to broad competence and significant variety in your daily work.

Our current opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:00–16:30 and Friday from 07:00–14:00. We have a high patient flow where patients stay for a few hours post-operation. Our day surgery unit consists of four operating theaters as well as our own pre- and post-operative wards.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered nurse with specialist education in anaesthesia
• At least 2 years of experience as a specialist

• Previous experience in day surgery operations

The Function for Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care is the hospital's consolidated resource for anesthesia, surgery, pre- and post-operative care, as well as intensive care for adults.
