We are now looking for a specialist physician in pulmonary medicine for the medical clinic at Norrtälje Hospital – a role where you can combine clinical work with development, supervision, and flexibility.

About the role

As a specialist physician in pulmonary medicine, you will work at our medical clinic with a focus on developing and running pulmonary medicine services. You will collaborate closely with nurses with specialized competence in asthma/COPD and home oxygen therapy. The position offers significant opportunities to influence your working methods and structure.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Design, develop, and run pulmonary medicine clinic services
• Be responsible for the treatment and follow-up of patients within pulmonary medicine
• Supervise and train junior doctors and colleagues
• Contribute to other internal medicine activities when needed, for example through back-on-call duties
• Participate in the development of operations and routines

About you

For this position, you need:

• To be a specialist physician in pulmonary medicine
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Experience with pulmonary medicine clinic services

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Specialist competence in adjacent internal medicine areas
• Back-on-call competence
