We are now seeking a Specialist Physician for ASIH in Vällingby

As a Specialist Physician with us at ASIH (Advanced Home Care), you will play a central role in delivering and developing high-quality care. You will work in a team-based environment, lead a multidisciplinary team, and be responsible for the care of patients in their homes.

The role includes:

• End-of-life care and symptom relief to achieve the highest possible quality of life for patients.
• Development of care quality and promotion of team collaboration.
• Mentoring of resident doctors (ST-läkare).
• Documentation in the medical record system Take Care and planning in the tool Epsilon.

The patient group includes, among others, patients with cancer, hematological diseases, COPD, heart failure, multiple chronic conditions, as well as patients with temporary conditions requiring advanced medical treatment, such as infusions.

Your qualifications

• Specialist Physician with any patient-oriented specialist competence and an interest in home care and palliative care.
• Knowledge of, or a strong interest in, pain and symptom management.
• Experience with end-of-life care and difficult conversations with patients and relatives is an advantage.
• Certification or specialist competence in palliative medicine is a plus.
• Good teamwork skills and high personal suitability.

The position is full-time with a start date to be agreed upon.
