Job Description

We are now looking for a registered nurse for our nurse patrol for a permanent position at 57%. The position involves working evenings and weekends, as well as participating in our operational meetings during the day according to schedule.

As a nurse in the patrol, you are responsible for health and care interventions within the municipality's operations. The work covers the municipality's three nursing homes with both somatic care, dementia care, and short-term care, totaling 105 places. The assignment also includes interventions in the municipality's LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations.

The work is varied and involves significant personal responsibility. You work independently with assessments that form the basis for care measures and perform common nursing interventions such as acute assessments, catheterization, symptom assessments, and medication management.

You collaborate with nursing staff, housing support workers, and doctors, and have contact with relatives and other healthcare providers. Documentation is carried out according to current routines and legislation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Registration as a nurse
• Experience of municipal health and care
• Good knowledge of Swedish, in speech and writing
• Good documentation skills
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license

Advantageous are:

• Further education in geriatrics, dementia, and/or psychiatric care
• Experience with the medical record system Treserva

You also need to have good knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern health and care operations.
