About the role
Within the Medical Unit Radiology Solna, we provide radiological diagnostics and treatment. Through high-tech equipment, strongly integrated research, and close collaboration with other units in the organization, we contribute specialist competence and methods for the best diagnosis and treatment for our patients.
As a research nurse within the radiology department, you play a central role in the execution of clinical studies. You act as a key link between research projects and clinical operations, contributing to the structured and quality-assured planning, coordination, and execution of studies. This autumn, we will become the first radiology department to install GE's new photon-counting technology.
The role combines research-related tasks with clinical duties within radiology, corresponding to at least 40% of working hours. Evening and weekend shifts may also be required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will among other things:
- Coordinate and administer clinical studies within the radiology department.
- Act as a contact person between research groups and clinical operations.
- Ensure that studies follow current study protocols and guidelines, including ICH-GCP.
- Assist clinic researchers with writing protocols (ICH-GCP), ethics applications, and other registrations according to current regulations.
- Be responsible for documentation and registration of study data.
- Coordinate examinations and research-related activities in collaboration with the operations team.
- Work clinically within radiology corresponding to at least 40% of the position, including evening shifts.
We are looking for you who
- Have strong administrative skills and are experienced with documentation.
- Have good collaboration skills and thrive in a role with many contact points.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Swedish license as a radiographer (röntgensjuksköterska).
- Experience working as a research nurse or other relevant experience in administrative or research-related work.
- Master's degree.
- Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written (C1/C2).
Merits:
- Documented training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and additional regulations (ICH) governing clinical research.
