About the role

Do you want to work in an exciting operation with significant impact on the region's development? South Lapland Airport is now looking for an engaged and analytical accountant who wants to contribute to the airport's continued development and financial management.

As an accountant, you will have a central role in the organization and work closely with management, operational managers, and external partners. You are responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, follow-up, and reporting, as well as providing decision support that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Continuous financial follow-up and reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and closing processes
• Analysis of the organization's finances and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Liquidity planning and financial forecasting
• Management of accounts payable and receivable
• Preparation of financial decision support materials for management and the board
• Participation in the development of routines, processes, and internal controls
• Contact with auditors, authorities, and external partners

Qualifications

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in economics, accounting, or equivalent
• Experience in financial work, accounting, or controlling
• Good knowledge of Excel and financial systems
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
