Hundreds of cases and matters are decided daily in courts throughout Sweden. Our organization consists of employees with various competencies, each of whom is crucial in maintaining legal certainty and high quality at all levels.

We are now looking for a Court Case Handler.

The Role

As a Court Case Handler with us, you will be part of a team of handlers working together to create an efficient and legally secure preparation of our cases and matters. More specifically, the work involves registering and preparing cases and matters together with other court case handlers. You ensure that the pre- and post-work of the court in various cases and matters is carried out in an impartial and efficient manner. Sometimes you handle several different cases and matters in parallel, and you prepare many cases independently up to the hearing. You also dispatch judgments and decisions, monitor deadlines, and schedule court days.

You work in a group together with your colleagues, but the tasks are performed independently and with personal responsibility. In addition to your fellow handlers, you work together with judges, other lawyers, and other employees at the district court. A day at the court is varied and content-rich, and you have frequent contact with colleagues, the public, the parties to the case, as well as lawyers, interpreters, witnesses, and others.

We are looking for you who

  • have a completed upper secondary education with final grades/diploma or other education that the employer considers equivalent
  • have previous work experience in administration and service that the employer considers relevant for the position
  • have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
  • have knowledge and an interest in IT and digitalization

It is meritorious if you work, or have worked, with the handling of cases or matters within the court system or other authorities. It is also meritorious if you have completed a Vocational Higher Education (YH) program as a paralegal or other post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant.

You have a high sense of service, quality, and customer handling, and you build good relationships with your colleagues while contributing your skills to the group's joint work. To thrive with us, you need to be able to handle different tasks, people, and situations, as well as have the ability to analyze and solve problems. Working according to structure and having a professional attitude is a given for you. During periods of high workload, you remain calm, and it is extra important that you have the ability to prioritize your work and focus on the right things. You also enjoy switching quickly between different tasks.

To be considered for employment, you must meet high demands regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you uphold democratic values and the state values that govern the operations of the Swedish Courts. We require that you comply with applicable laws.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

We offer you

As a Court Case Handler, you are offered a responsible and varied job with good opportunities for competence development in the field. You are offered attractive benefits, such as a wellness allowance and one wellness hour every week.
