The Municipal Executive Office (KLK) is one of the municipality's departments and is responsible for leading and coordinating a number of different municipality-wide assignments. In addition to strategically steering and coordinating the municipality's projects, the task is to be the ultimate support for the municipality's seven departments. To identify needs, analyze, create prerequisites, make proposals, and challenge issues that are important for the municipality, the group, and our societal development. All of this is done with quality, heart, and a touch of attitude.

The Municipal Executive Office consists of the municipal administration, HR, finance, IT, communications, development, land development, and business departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work with protecting information flows and strengthening the organization's ability to handle incidents and crises during extraordinary events? We are now looking for an employee with a clear focus on information security and preparedness.

As a coordinator for preparedness and security, you will have a central role in developing the municipality's capabilities in information security, crisis preparedness, and the secure handling of vital societal information. You will become a key link between strategy and reality. You will help operations understand and analyze risks, build resilience, and translate requirements and regulations into working methods. The area is complex and needs to be simplified to create clarity and achieve results.

You will be responsible for and work with among other things:

• Coordination and further development of the municipality's work on information security
• Coordinate the organization's work with NIS2 (preparations, requirement fulfillment, and collaboration with relevant functions)
• Risk and vulnerability analyses (RSA) with a focus on information and operational risks
• Conduct exercises and support operations during disruptions and incidents
• The connection and critical dependencies between information security and preparedness
• Development and follow-up of governing documents, routines, and working methods
• Support for operations in matters concerning secure information handling
• Collaboration with IT, security functions, and other internal and external actors

The position is classified in a security class and a security clearance check will be conducted prior to employment. The position also involves war-time assignment based on the employment contract.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in information security, IT security, preparedness, or risk management
• Experience of or good knowledge of RSA work
• Experience working with CoSafe or similar systems
• Good understanding of the role of information security
• Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
• Advantageous is experience from public operations as well as work based on established frameworks or regulations within information security.
