This is me

I am a happy and curious 19-year-old girl with an intellectual disability and autism. I live in a villa with my parents but have my own apartment in the house. I plan to move to a completely separate apartment in the near future, which means you as an assistant will be an important part of my increased independence.

I attend day activities. I do not speak, but I make myself understood through clear body language and widget pictures on my iPad.

I need help with all daily living activities, such as personal care, meals (tube feeding), activities, and structure in everyday life.

My interests include going to Väla, baking, walking in the forest and by the sea, and cycling.

There is a dog in the household, so you must not be allergic.

Who do I want by my side?

I am looking for you who can and want to take responsibility and who, through cooperation and care, gives me the support I need in my daily life. You have good spoken Swedish and can learn to understand and interpret me correctly. It is important that you are calm, receptive, secure, and can support me in my communication. I prefer female applicants.

About the position

Previous experience with personal assistance or work within the autism spectrum is meritorious. However, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. The workplace is located in Höganäs Municipality.

I am now looking for you who want to work as a hourly employee, who can sometimes step in with short notice and cover for regular staff absence. Work shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends; daytime, evening, and night including waiting time.
