Alma Assistans is looking for a dedicated personal assistant

Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with the client and know that good relationships are the key to successful assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our head office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are now looking for an engaged and warm personal assistant for a cheerful young man with high care needs.

He uses a wheelchair and needs help with most aspects of his daily life. He has epilepsy, several allergies, and receives nutrition via PEG (tube feeding). You will receive an introduction and learn everything you need on site.

About the role

The client is sensitive to infections and reacts strongly to scents such as perfume, laundry detergent, and soap. Therefore, it is important that you:

• Are a non-smoker
• Avoid strong scents

During the day, you will engage in activities together – he enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, and playing.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in helping other people
• Is energetic, positive, and attentive
• Is flexible and creative
• Has fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

Working hours and team

• Day and evening shifts, seven days a week
• Double assistance (two assistants present)
• You will become part of a team with four other assistants
• Opportunities for permanent shifts available from autumn
