About the School

Kulturama Primary School in Sundbyberg is a profile school with approximately 50 dedicated staff members and 500 creative students in grades 4–9. The school offers three specific profiles: Visual Arts and Design, Music and Song, and Musical Theatre. Our students, who come from Greater Stockholm and its surrounding areas, actively choose to apply to us due to our unique focus.

We are currently strengthening the medical part of the Student Health Service at the school and are therefore looking for a colleague to join our current school nurse who works 30% with us. Job Responsibilities

The school nurse's assignment is to work together with school leadership and other professions within the Student Health Service to create the best possible conditions for students' health, development, and learning by contributing medical competence to the team.

As a school nurse, you work health-promoting and preventive in accordance with our basic program and the regulatory documents found in the Health and Medical Services Act, the Education Act, and guidelines for the Student Health Service. The job responsibilities include, among other things:

• Health conversations and health examinations.
• Vaccinations according to the national basic program.
• Collaboration with students, guardians, school staff, and external actors.
• Collaboration with other school nurses as well as other staff within the Student Health Service. Medborgarskolan's school nurses and other Student Health Service staff document in Prorenata.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialized education in health care for children and adolescents, school health care, or district nurse. Previous experience working as a school nurse is meritorious.

Personal Qualities

The position of school nurse requires good collaboration skills and that you are secure in your role.

We value collaboration and that you are a good team player. You should be able to work in a structured manner and independently plan your work.

You take the initiative to develop your competence in order to also develop the operations.

You are solution-oriented and have a genuine interest in working with children and young people.
