We are looking for an experienced logistics specialist with a focus on purchasing and supplier management for an assignment in Ludvika. Here you will work broadly with operational and strategic purchasing processes and contribute to efficient flows within both indirect and direct materials.

Job Description

In this role, you work to ensure that the right goods and services are purchased for the business. This includes both indirect purchases such as office supplies, travel, and services, as well as direct purchases linked to production and material supply.

You are responsible for the entire purchasing process, from needs analysis and sourcing to supplier selection, price negotiation, order management, and follow-up. You also handle contract management and monitor supplier performance.

The work is carried out independently with ongoing dialogue with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You contribute with structure, problem-solving, and drive improvements in the area.

Who fits the role?

We are looking for you who have experience working with purchasing or logistics in an operational role.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in operational purchasing or logistics
• Education: Post-secondary education in logistics, purchasing, or a similar field
• Languages: Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Personal qualities: Structured, analytical, driven, and responsible with good teamwork skills
