Are you responsible and solution-oriented? Are you motivated by working in a supportive role and do you thrive on variety in your work? To meet the operations' need for short-term substitutes, we are now looking for a Staffing Planner – please send us your application!
Welcome to us!
The Staffing Pool in Krokom Municipality currently consists of 9 permanent assistant nurses and 16 permanent childcare assistants, approx. 300 hourly paid substitutes, as well as administrative staff. The administration is located in central Krokom.
The Social Services Administration consists of 600 employees, with a broad scope of tasks. The administration is divided into five operational areas and is located throughout the municipality. Here, we are responsible for providing care, support, service, health, and medical care to the municipality's citizens who need it, at all stages of life.
The Staffing Pool is undergoing reorganization to become a central scheduling and staffing unit. To prepare for this change, we need to expand our team with one additional Staffing Planner, increasing from three to four positions.

As a Staffing Planner, you are responsible for meeting the need for short-term substitutes from our various operations. Using the staffing system Time Care Pool, you plan schedules to ensure that the right substitute, with the right competence, ends up at the right workplace at the right time. The Staffing Planners also handle all short-term absence for SÄBO (care for people with disabilities), LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and Home Help services.
You handle substitute orders that come in via the staffing system from operations within the Social Services Administration and the Child and Education Administration. This can involve both urgent short-term needs and planned long-term needs such as vacation or other absence.
You also receive and handle short-term absence from operations within the Social Services Administration.
The role includes reviewing substitute needs in operations, planning, and booking introductions for both permanent "Pool" staff and hourly employees.
You perform checks on time regulations in Time Care Pool related to daily and weekly rest periods according to the Working Hours Act, distribute leased cars, and maintain ongoing dialogue with managers, administrators, and executive support in the operations.
You should enjoy having many contacts, both via phone and email.
The work also includes other administrative tasks such as documentation, writing minutes, and handling follow-ups in Excel. As needed, you participate in recruitment processes and conduct follow-up conversations with substitutes, for example during introductions and feedback sessions.

Other:
To thrive in the role, it is important that you have good planning and collaboration skills, a professional approach with a high level of service in all situations, and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
You have a solution-oriented attitude, see opportunities, and thrive with varying paces.

Krokom, the municipality in the middle of Jämtland
Krokom Municipality's borders stretch from the shores of Lake Storsjön in the south, to the extensive and wild mountains in the north, and in the east, the large forests of the northern inland begin. Here live just over 15,700 inhabitants, in the middle of Jämtland County, with close proximity to good communications to the rest of Sweden. Here there are fantastic opportunities for a rich cultural and outdoor life. People move here and want to stay, because here life itself takes place.
The municipality is part of the Sami administrative area, which means we work to strengthen the Sami language, make the culture visible, and give the Sami people influence.
